Qigong and brainwave research begins
Prof. Si-Chen Lee, former President of National Taiwan University, begins his research into qigong and brainwaves.
The crystal qi field is discovered
Prof. Si-Chen Lee finds that the qi field around crystals closely resembles the torsion field described by Russian physicists.
Published in an international journal
Prof. Si-Chen Lee and his doctoral student Wei-Chieh Liang publish a paper in an international physics journal, showing that the torsion field generated by particle spin, though faint, becomes far stronger when coupled with large-scale rotation.
Crystal qi fields identified as torsion fields
Prof. Si-Chen Lee, Dr. Hsiung-Kuang Tsai and Dr. Wei-Chieh Liang establish that the physical nature of the crystal qi field is the torsion field.
Aqive is founded
The founders gather in a meeting room at National Taiwan University and decide to use brainwave analysis and torsion field technology to help expand human awareness, designing torsion field modules and their applications on the theoretical groundwork already laid.
The first torsion field products arrive
On May 15, 2021, Aqive launches its first torsion field generator, Qi Torsion, alongside Qi Box, which creates the oscillation and resonance of qi, and Qi Crystal, which resonates with the qi field of crystals.

The origins of torsion field science
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the people who would become Aqive's co-founders found their way to the same table and discovered mindfulness together. They described feeling more settled in body and emotion, more aware, and happier in daily life, and that experience of energy was something they wanted to share more widely.
Prof. Si-Chen Lee, Dr. Hsiung-Kuang Tsai, Bill Koh, Yves Lin, Bruce Liao and their fellow founders decided to form Aqive. On July 13, 2020, they gathered in a meeting room at National Taiwan University to discuss how brainwave analysis and torsion field technology might help expand human awareness, and that conversation became the starting point for Aqive.

What is a torsion field?
The four fundamental forces in today's textbooks are gravity, electromagnetism, the strong nuclear force and the weak nuclear force. The torsion force is far smaller than gravity, the weakest of the four, which makes it very difficult to measure with instruments, and that is why the textbooks leave it out.
Russian scientists have studied it closely since the 1960s and describe unusual properties: a torsion field is not blocked by any natural material, and the spin structure it leaves in space remains even after the source is taken away.
NOT EMF
Is a torsion field electromagnetic?
No.
Our products use torsion coils whose left-hand and right-hand windings cancel each other out, leaving the torsion field behind. In testing, the electromagnetic emission produced while the torsion field is at work measures lower than that of a wireless mouse.
Holding a mouse gives you no particular sensation, yet people holding Qi Torsion often describe feeling the torsion field at work in the body, a sensation that has nothing to do with electromagnetic waves.
WHO CAN FEEL IT
Who can feel a torsion field?
In his book The Science of Torsion Fields, Prof. Si-Chen Lee notes that in his experiments roughly 15%–20% of people were meridian-sensitive and could clearly notice the subtle sensation of qi.
Curious whether you are one of them? Hold your left hand flat and upright, form your right hand into a sword finger, and draw circles about 10 cm from your left palm. The sooner a sensation appears, the more sensitive you are.
If it is not something you were born with, practices such as mindfulness meditation, qigong, yoga and breathwork can also cultivate a finer sense of your own body.
